what is the sight-in range for a 7mm rem mag is it 27 ft or ......?

Scope ? set it at 1 inch high at 100 yards. This will make the gun good for 300 yards for a excellent shot. No Scope ? Buy one. Iron sights are for 30/30's not 7mm mags. If you have less space make it 1 inch high at 50 yards, it wont make that much difference. If 300 yards is not enough distance for your shot, move closer, the animal wont run when your that far away !
