god doesn't want us to find him/her? What if when you get to heaven, and he/she isn't there? Lets say that by finding god you upset the whole balance that he/she created in our conscious uncertainty so that he/she could exist for an eternity on vacation from the toils and troubles of maintaining this universe. I'm just wondering what it would be like if the quest for god was abandoned. My actual question is : "Why is there any form of uncertainity, if consciousness is the foundation of all being?" If consciousness is the foundation of all being, then why does god exist?

I actually understand your question, as I can relate to it. I have an undying belief in God. But I truly believe that God gives us uncertainty so that we search for further truths. In that the devil (I do not capitalize him because he is so beneath that) give us uncertainties in God everyday. We question why a smal child dies of leukemia and how could God allow that, to make the rest appreciate their children when we count ten toes and ten fingers. How some who would love children cannot have them and others have babies that they abandone. This is NOT Gods will. God wanted us to be uncertain and "discover" evolution to make us resolute in what we believe. If a belief is not questioned then how is it a belief and not just a thought. A little more than I wanted to share as in this forum you truly do not know who cares and who is doing a "survey." Checked your questions and answers, still not sure, still an uncertainty but my belief compelled me to answer as I believe.

Everything you need to know is in the Bible. The Old Testament is a history book. The two commandments in the New Testament are how we should live our lives today. God Bless!

No uncertainity here!

2Ti 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
2Ti 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

We are a spark of that consciousness, growing independent of the source, hidden in darkness, that our light may light the path of hidden knowledge.

You think too hard about things, and in the wrong direction. Backtrack a little.
