I mean the idea of entrusting one small group of people to accurately transmit information not only across space, but also through vast amounts of time and language translations is not the act of a smart being. People can't even keep their stories straight when they get in a circle and whisper a sentence from person to person until it comes out garbled on the other side. And one language can never perfectly capture the meanings of another.

I don't think the Creator is defined solely by organized religion.

There are many people who believe in a Higher Power that do not belong to an organized religion. There are also many forms of organized religion, all over the world with different beliefs and different languages.

The Creator is very diverse as are people and their opinions on how best to worship or respect their God.

God didn't start religion, man did. God communicates through each of us individually, which is why we have a conscience, feelings and emotions. They are our guiding compass in life. We can pick and choose what we believe out of all that we are "taught" by other humans. We don't have to believe it. What we believe is right for us, at the moment.

No when you began to communicate with God, most organized religion begins to look a little stupid.
