Why the heck are kids in so much of a HURRY to grow up?
You're 10 years old! Jesus! Come back and ask that same question in 4 or 5 more years.

First the people said he is gay are probably wrong. Kids love picking on each other. He is probably not gay at all. (Some people are gay, I don't think at that age they even know but in any case, most people teased for being gay are not.)
Should you ask him out? Well, I'd say wait. Not cause you will be embarassed, (at your age this is more possibility), but cause your very young. At your age, just have fun. Seriously. Wait a while to call somebody your boy friend. Better to just have friends.
I'd say don't ask him out. Tease him? Mabye that's o.k., I don't know. Might consider asking your mom?

To recap: He's had lots of girlfriends. Some people think he's gay. You want to ask him out. And you're in FIFTH GRADE, for God's sake! What the hell is happening to our kids these days? Now all you can think about is dating! Can't you just live your life and wait until you've grown normal body parts?

hey.. look you're in grade 5!!!! I went out in grade 5.. huge disaster.. Boys aren't even old enough to tie their own shoes!!! ou don't even have hips yet girl.. YOu need to wait a little bit.. At least 1 year probably even 2. Don't rush being a teen.. It comes naturally, n ow I wish I was little again and didn't have the back stabbing friends you get in highschool..
Yeah have a crush in grade 5 but please I'm begging you DON'T ASK HIM OUT!!! Your 10!!!!!! Your a kid~~!!!

settle down your only in 5th grade. Truth is guys might not like you because you guys are only in 5th grade. What I mean is girls grow up faster than guys. While you may like guy this guy probaly doesn't even like girls yet. Grow up a little more and don't worry guys will too it just takes them a little longer. I think your too young to be dating but maybe you guys could hang out with friends together. Good luck!

Just be friends. . . forget the asking out part because boys in Grade 5 for the most part will tell you to forget it. . . they aren't interested. "Going out" is not their thing (for another 5 yrs or so).

i just asked someone out and i an shy he said no but nobody looked at me wrong lots of people get embarrassed and im in 7th so its a little hard to fit in just be yourself
