It's not bad. I'd rather have sex with a good friend, then to put out for some guy I've dated three times because it's "expected".
Actually, I got spoiled having great sex with a life-long friend, and now I'm really picky about the other men I allow into my life. I usually make a man prove (to me in all sorts of little ways) that he likes me as a person first before I'll even think of having any sex with him.

To my intent, there is no "bad" reason to be with someone, you just enjoy being with. You don't have to "love" everything to be happy with it. When a friendship is formed by the variety of the genders, somethings "may" change how you think of each other. Suppose "Boy" loved the "Girl" but the "Girl" only liked the "Boy" as a friend. The "Boy's" feelings could be hurt, which can bring dismay torwards each others bond. But just as long as you guys enjoy being with each other, there's no problem.

I really don't think its bad. But too many ppl around her take true love so lightly. I mean ppl use the word so lightly it really is a shame. There are too many ppl that loosely date anyways, esp ppl my age.. whats the point? In the end you'll graduate anyway and have seperate lives.. even the BEST of couples (seriously the BEST) broke up after going to college. But nothing wrong liking someone i guess lol

It's not relationships don't always end up with the two people falling in love but if you think of him as more than a friend then it is not right to lead him on. if he says that he loves you but you don't tell him that as of now you don't feel as if you love him but you care about him very much and your feelings might change but that is how you feel now. but if you have been going out for quite awhile maybe there is no chemistry and you are better off just being friends.

Because you're a nice person and you understand that doing something like that isn't fair to either of you. The other person will love you, and he might even give his all thinking you love him also - but you don't. You on the other hand might find yourself settling, embarassed to break up with him after everything he might go through - are you willing to settle for something less than ideal?
That, and nice persons alway feel like a jerk during and after such instances.

Because I believe there is true love out there for everyone in the world! So since you only "like" this guy you're taking him from the girl that might love him! Also he might end up loving you, but you might not feel so strongly, so its like leading him on

ONE REASON ONLY: other than being unfair to that person and you're self, your missing out on the person who is meant for you!
Do what's right for both of you , be friends or nothing at all, make room for you're true love to enter..

It is? People do it all the time---look at dating couples who love each other's company and have fun together, but aren't really in love.

That is not fair to either partner. You both will never find any true happiness in a relationship like that.

I wouldn't say that its bad. If you don't love them, then you don't love them. There's nothing wrong with that. =) Soon you'll find the one that makes you happy and you will LOVE them.
