i like this guy and he knows i like him, and he likes me (its been verified by his friends) and my friends think i should ask him, but i feel that it is the guys job. what do ya'll think?

not in this day and age it is very normal for females to ask a guy out, but I'm with you I do feel it's the guy's place to make the first move.

DO NOT ask him out. MAKE HIM ASK YOU! That's the rules!
This is what you do:
Say "Hey, are you ever going to ask me out? 'Cuz I'm not going to wait around for you forever".
He will either ask you or run. If he runs...well, you don't want to date a chickensh!t anyways.

dont ask him. cause his friends might be lying to you. guys are scandulous. like get him alone or something. and ask him who he likes. or something like that. but if he really does like you. then he needs to get the balls to tell you.
