I'm sure there are. It's the collective consciousness of a group of beings that necessitate and create a need for a supreme being. This serves the society; it creates a collective search for something ultimate where all beings can follow a similar path which helps to minimize violence while trying to discover the ultimate truth. Granted, there is much violence and hatred, but it could always be worse. All setient beings are searching for the one governing truth that applies to all life (whether it be here or on another planet).

That wouldn't make much sense because planets are composed of the same materials. Who created outer space then? Who created oxygen, hydrogen, etc? Maybe there might be one deity assigned to watching over a specific planet, but I doubt it.

Very highly trained yogis can create planets, according to the Vedas!
And anyone, who gets this training can do so:he just have to get the proper teachers or gurus....
Each planet has its demigod or leader, just like any country has its leader:it's just the way things are all over the universe....
but the Supreme God,Sri Krishna is .....Supreme: Jesus....is the son of Krishtos or Krishta...Krishna!

Interesting question.
Mormons believe that because their gods are finite.
However, the Judeo-Christian God is infinite.
He is the ultimate, necessary, self-existent reality, who exists everywhere.
So He would be the only God for all possible worlds.

Equally as possible as there being one God for all. Of course Earth God would most likely try to convince us he was the only God....
I love What If questions....

there are little fairies in my garden. and other invisible nympths and imps are about us. we can see the result but everyone writes it off to an accident, a slip or such. they are very mischievous things. then there are the really big gods and the things in between. the gods are know by many names and that is the foundation of your question. enjoy this wonderful spiritual world and keep your karma klean.

I think it'd be a war of lords as our God says he is a jealous God. I think he'd be jealous of all the beautiful trees and animals their world still has.
