Only on Nickelodeon!!!
This was just on the news within the last few weeks. A woman in some poor country claimed that her cat had puppies or that her dog had kittens...can't remember which was which. But, they did testing on the babies and the momma was not the biological momma. Studies show that animals will taken in another species young if they have recently lost their own.

Naturally they would never mate, and genetics of the two animals would not merge to create offspring. The genetic make up for cats and dogs are not even relative to one another. The only way it would happen is a weird infinity slim chance. So to answer your question, NO. Don't hold your breath, evolution changes slowly, and we most likely will never witness such in our life times.

I'm assuming that your dog was the one doing your cat? Well, I would hardly doubt it's the first time that has ever happened. But, for your cats sake - I'd put a stop to it. It's not like people ya know. It might feel good for the dog, but your poor cats gettin raped!

My son's chihuahua tried to mate with his cat and my daughter-in-law was sure when the cat got pregnant that the babies would be half cat half dog. She had kittens.

Mating between species is not biologically possible. No viable fetus could come to being. This is nature's way of preventing things that are not meant to be.
