i was just surfing the net and i came upon this new product its called meladerm.....does anyone have any opinions on this product? does it work for hyperpigmentation and all that other stuff it says?

yes it does work. I had some dark spots on the back of my hands (from the sun..yuck) and it did fade them over time. Granted, they did not fade completely, but the spots are much lighter than before and my hands look much younger. But you always should keep in mind that if something works for someone, it doesn't necessarily mean it will work for you. Everyone's skin is different so not everything will work for everyone. You can also look for hydroquinone creams at the drugstore. Hydroquinone also does the same thing as Meladerm.

I don't know about Meladerm, but I had severe Melasma on my face (particularly the left side from driving with the sun shining on my face). I didn't even know there was anything I could do, but I went to the dermatologist about another issue and she brought it up. She gave me Triluma (probably similar to Meladerm) to use each night and then a glycolic peel to use during the day. Within 2 months my Melasma was completely gone. I use a moisturizer with a SPF of 30 every day to keep it from returning. She said that the moisturizer has to have a physical block (some zinc oxide) as well as the chemical block. There are more and more coming on the market.
