Have you tried a cleanse? I've been trying exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 22 lbs in a month. I tried Isagenix 9 day cleanse. I'm going to do it again next month. My doctor recommended it to me for my weight loss. With a good cleanse you can lose up to 10 lbs in 9 days. And it's not just water weight. Just cleanse, eat healthy and exercise at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Even if it's just walking around the mall or the track. I'm now on month 2 and I've lost a total of 35lbs. Good luck.

Being lactose intolerant should not effect your ability to reduce your body fat...and in fact, forces you to cut down on the natual sugars found in dairy. Although there are some beneficial foods in the dairy groups that you may be missing out on (cottege cheese, whey protien, low fat cheeses) the majority of foods that will allow you to get leaner are not included in the dairy family.

Eating lean protiens and fibrous vegetables will increase your slow metabolism, and curb your appetite. I hate to harp on this rule, but I think eating 5 small meals per day is optimal to weight loss and maintenance...I'm sure you may have heard this before. Eating only 3 meals a day (the starve and stuff method) is horrible for the body, and forces the metabolism to come to a screeching halt in efforts to preserve its nutrients.

You have a variety of choices for healthy meals out there, poultry, soy protiens (silk soymilk is great), lean steak, fish, veggies, fruits, whole grain breads in various options, there are even lactose free chesse options at many health food stores:) Don't feel limited.

Also, move around and get about 30 minutes of exercise per day (if you don't already). You don't need to kill yourself in the gym, just make an effort to take a little walk during your luch break, or use the stairs rather than the elevator, or do a set of situps before you go to bed...anything is better than nothing.

Using weight loss supplements for women is a good idea, espescially if your metabolism is slow. I use LipoFemme, so far its worked like a charm, plus it's herbal and inexpensive. you can find it at http://www.lipofemme.com or http://www.fitreviewsite.com

It takes time and a little change in mindset, but with persistance you'll notice some definite changes in your mind and body.
