I was given 4 cartons of fresh cream ,I would not use that much in a long time ,can I freeze them and how long would they freeze for , thank you .

Yes you may. As long it is not past it's expiration date, you may freeze up to 4 mo. making sure it doesn't get freezer burn. Then when ready to use, thaw at room temperature until normal consistency has returned. Refrigerate up to 1 day afterward.

Fresh cream may be frozen more than a few months, if well sealed. I have accidentally had it in for almost a year in back of freezer. It tasted okay.

Yes you can freeze double or whipping cream for no longer than 2 months but you must whip it before freezing it.

Yes you can.That was how iced cream originated. Depending on how low the temp is in your freezer you can freeze them for months.
