trust me. try and count how many guys there are in your age range all over the entire world. now just guess how many of them have a sense of humor. and how many of them are cuter than cute, but sexy.
don't worry about it. be his friend, and let him get to know you. if he likes someone else, let him give her a test drive. it probably won't last. (it sounds like you're in elementary school or so, so i give it 3 months if he tries dating her)

i don't have any advice but i'm in the same situation. except that the guy i like is going out with one of my really good friends. very very hard. good luck with your guy!!
