Depends on whether or not you've done anything to reduce the fever. Have you alternated Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours?

Yes, you should definitely go to the E.R. or an urgent care center. Unless you've had a throat culture done, you can't be entirely sure it's strep throat, although if you've experienced it before and you're having the same symptoms, it probably is.
And if you've had strep before and recognize the symptoms, don't wait so long to get treatment. It just gives the strep bacteria a stronger hold on your system and makes it more difficult to get rid of it. See your doctor at the first sign of sore throat combined with elevated temp, even if it's only 99 or 100 degrees.

I could break that fever with cold ice cloths and aspirin and I have in the past... Watch it... You should be fine, but you are on the border.. If it doesn't go down and you can't break it within the next hour or two... Go to the hospitol... If you are going to get better it won't stay that high long.. Also, I think strep is viral - so alcohol won't help... Whenever you think you may be sick from some sort of bacteria or parasite start hitting the VODKA... It works everytime..

You need a medical prescription of antibiotics for your infection (Zithromax 500 mg 1 per day during 3 days will be a good election, also medication to fever control like panadol 500 mg, two tablets each 4 hours plus aleve 2 tablets three times a day, if you go to wallgreen maybe you get medicine over de counter panadol and aleve, then tomorrow you visit your primary physician. but too is correct go to ER to get treatment. good luck.

If you have a doctor, call and make an appointment there. Too many people use the ER for things like fevers that aren't emergencies and it takes away from the patients that DO need emergency help.

Yes you should go the doctors/ER. Normal temp is 37 degrees. After this the bodys cells start to be destroyed which can be very serious.
I would as soon as possible, and take some paracetamol to reduce it.
