for those able to project...why do you keep saying you feel a sense of peace when if i found myself floating up the ceiling and looking down at my own body i would have literally peed my pants(if that is possible while im floating)...dont you find it scary?

For many it is very scary the first time they realize what's going on. But, I think it's something that happens often before we're even aware that it occurs. When we sleep, we oftentimes travel but have no recollection afterwards. After you get used to the freedom and potentials, you'll thrill with the escape from the physical domain into other realms of existence. Have fun and relax and enjoy the trip :-)

It can be scary if you aren't careful. You should never astrally project by yourself. Usually the astral is much farther than your ceiling. You are thinking of OBE. Outer Body Experiences.

No it's not scary, since the person is usually in a trance like state when he gets such an experiance. Do u get scared in ur dream seeing u do things that cld never have happened in the waking state?Only when u wake up it seems strange.

It's happened to me twice and it wasn't scary at all. I was mad when I got back in. I had no emotions whatsoever. I just watched and then I thought "hey did I just bump into the ceiling?" and whooosh, I was back in my body. I won't tell you about the other time cuz that's too much typing for me!

Personally, I wouldn't experiment with such things. Only thinking that you might not be able to come back into your body should be enough. After all, this happens to all dead people.

But for me, it contradicts with my faith.
