Dogs love Kitty Roca. Yum. Seriously, the protein content in the cat poop is very appealing to dogs. Since dogs are primarily scavengers, they really can't help themselves. It is easier to keep the cat poop away from the dogs. Using a covered catbox with the door for the kitties facing the wall helps.
Also, can you put the cat box in a room and latch the door open a little with a hook and eye? It should be open enough for the cat to get through but too narrow for a dog. (unless, of course, you have a small dog)
Giving your dog a probiotic or enzymatic supplement with his food can help, but usually with cat poop, it isn't a nutritional lack but the appeal (ugh!) of the poop.

Dogs that eat cat poop do so for a reason. Cats do not digest their food fully, so there is still some "nutrition" left over when they go. A little gross, but true. There are pills you can give your cat to make the poop taste bitter to the dog. It's called coprophagia treatment, they have it in most medicine aisles at the pet store. check with your vet to make sure this is safe to give your cat as it is usually only used on dogs. Another way to go about it is to give your cat a little bit of pure pumpkin. NOT pumpkin pie filling. Maybe a tablespoon or two every day, because it's small. That also makes the feces unpleasant to eat. We used this on our lab puppy (he got 3/4 cup to a cup though) and it worked great. Something about it makes the pumpkin taste great going in but awful going out.

The reason your dog eats the cat poop is cat poop has alot of protien in it and dogs love it, but it can make them real sick too. At most pet stores or Veterinary offices will have stuff you can mix into your cat food that makes their poop taste real bad for the dog and then he will get out of the habit and you can stop putting it in the cat food after that. good luck!

The best way is to pick up the poop after he goes or if you dont want to do that I have a book called "what if" and it says to carry a ball or one of the dogs toys and when it looks like the dog is going to pick up the poop get his or hers attention and give it the toy instead. It will after awhile learn to just walk by and not eat the poop.

Keep her on a leash when you take her outside, and when she goes for the kitty rocha, give her a correction - pull on the leash sharply (but not too hard) and say NO in a loud voice. Don't expect your dog to understand your command until you've repeated it 30x. Don't get frustrated if the behavior is not corrected right away. It will take a few weeks of constant monitoring on leash to help teach the dog that the rocha is a NO.

Your dog is probably deficient in something Dog eat poo normally for this reason. Alot of animals eat poo cause they are defiecent in something. I have seen Horses and Rabbiits eat there poo and others. Try giving him some natural yoghurt or/and a teaspoon of Brewers Yeast a couple of times a week. may take a week or two to take effect.
For now to top the dog from eating the cat poo try and sprinkle pepper on the poo. When the dog goes to eat the poo he will get a nasty surprise! ha ha
Best Of Luck

Feeding him a better quailty food may not make him crave whatever the cat poop has.
Move the litter box to a location that the dog can't get to it. Cats are usually more nimble than dogs, so move it or lid it to prevent tootsie roll surprises. : )

I'd say your best bet would be to put the cat box in an area your dog can't go to. You could put up a babygate or something. Also when he does it you have to scold him.
