Godzilla call that a threat!

I love it how people actually think it is a choice, but then they go off about faith. We are not born with faith. If there is a God that judges people on choosing the right faith, turning Heaven into nothing more than a lottery, I would rather go to Hell. It would probably be a better place.

It isn't a real choice. Scaring someone into believing in God doesn't work and I think we have intellect, observation and choice by intent. If a person only turns to God because he is afraid of hell, it's not a heart's choice. I believe that ultimately we get our heart's desire and experience our goals whatever they may be - perhaps for a lot longer that we would like.

.Godzilla can call it a threat if he likes, God gave us the choice to believe and if we don't then we are putting ourselves in jeopardy

It is a choice, it's just that one of the choices isn't attractive. Everyone sins, and someone has to pay for that sin. If you don't give it to Christ and follow Him, then you have to pay for it, which means separation from God forever in hell. You can choose to follow God or not, but your choice has consequences, good or bad.

It should be a no brainer, everyone sins, therefore everyone deserves punishment for their sins. Jesus is willing to pay our fine. If we are willing to thank him for his gift to us, our fine is paid in full, and we never have to worry about taking the punishment ourselves.
But some would rather pay their own fine than love someone that loves them. If you hate Jesus enough that you don't want his gift he won't force you to take it. But if you are smart you will.

I think the question is: how is that not a choice? God gives us the coice of loving and believing in Him or live our lives the way we want and go to hell. It's simple. Idk about you, but I'd call that a choice.

Haven't you noticed how many people choose to burn? It's free will.

God Bless and Merry Christmas.
