I believe that if a guy see the chase is on him he might feel cornered. he might want the same thing but with him coming to u. this is my own personal opinion. take as you will.

plain and simple, you don't want to sound retarded so its easier to keep your mouth shut. Ask him about something he can't screw up, like the local football team's latest game and you won't be able to shut him up ;)
