Hello, Bethybug and thanks for your question!
Abrahm's name was changed to Abraham and God told him he would be the father of "many nations," not just the nation of Israel. The only people bound by the laws of the Mosaic or Abrahamic covenant are the Nation of Israel, ie. the Jewish nation. In the book of Acts, 15:19,20, a list of rules for Gentiles, or non-Jews, is given as to what is required. Since it came from Paul and God did not see fit to correct him at any point in the New Testament, we can assume this is our lot:
abstain from food polluted by idols
abstain from sexual immorality
abstain from the meat of strangled animals
abstain from blood
I hope this fully answers your question, and hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Not if we call ourselves Christians.
Read the book of Galatians, Paul covers that subject.
BTW: We cannot be Abraham's seed unless we are descendants of Isaac or Ishmael.
That does not apply to me.
As a believer I have been assured the promises that were given to Abraham and his people, but I am not of Abraham's seed.

No, the 613 commandments in the "Old Testament" are only for Jews, and some of them only apply in Israel. In order to "study" the OT commandments, you will need to become familiar with the Talmud, though.
However, you might want to study other parts of the Torah since that is where you get the authority for Christianity. Jews do not need Christianity to explain their existence or their origin, but Christians cannot explain their existence without Judaism.

,,If I were you,I would read of Abraham Learn all that you can about him, Then read all you can about JESUS,, you'll find out that JESUS visited abraham before Jesus was born [Thats just one of the little secrets of the bible]

Abraham and Israel are not the same person. If the rest of His descendants not from Isaac and Jacob's line were not given the rules, then why should we obey them.

if god was omniscient, ie, he knew everything that would happen, then it would seem kinda pointless that he would do the whole old testament thing in the first place... i mean, why would he keep forgiving and giving another chance if he already knew they would betray him again? i mean, why not just cut to the chase and just start with jesus to begin with? i mean, why set up all those laws to follow, and then later, say "never mind, ignore that now..." god needs to make up his mind. i personally think christianity decided they needed a backstory... and judaism was the viewers top choice!

Yes, for historical value BUT remember that Jesus removed the need for us to follow ANY of the 613 Levitical Laws ( Including Tithing!)
