Peanut Butter Cookies with Hershey's Kisses
These are just what they sound like: peanut butter cookies, rolled in sugar, and with a Hershey's Kiss pressed onto the top while they are still hot. Mmmmm....
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 hershey's kisses
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the butter (two sticks), peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla together in a bowl with a beater set on Low.
When those are blended, add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. Once again, mix with the beater on low.
Roll the dough into little one inch diameter balls, roll them in sugar until well covered, and place them on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes on 350 degrees. They turn out better if they are softish at the end, so err on the short side when it comes to time. Keep an eye on them.
While the cookies are baking, start unwrapping as many Hershey's Kisses as you need to put one on each cookie.
Take the cookies out and stick a Kiss in the middle of each cookie.
Then just wait for them to cool down enough to pick up and they are ready for the eating. This is my favorite cookie ever.

I got the recipe from my mother and they were called Peanut Blossoms where I come from (Minnesota). Here's my family recipe:
1 3/4 c. flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all the above and roll into balls. Roll the balls in additional sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Upon removing from oven, press a candy kiss into each, pressing firmly.

Easiest way to make them is buy refridgerated cookie dough, roll into balls, place on a cookie sheet and bake.... as soon as they come out of the oven pop a hershey kiss into their center ... Hersheys has some new flavered kises that work well too like the mint ones.... use them with sugar cookie dough

There called peanut kisses and it's simply a peanut butter cookie recipe, rolled into balls and then rolled in granulated sugar. Place an unwrapped hersey kiss in the middle of each cookie before baking.
