there are too many "christians" here that are making my belief sound like it is one without sense. this is going on too often in our country, so why allow it here? i propose that we formulate a coherency test. before you are allowed to get a screen name to actively support Christianity on this site, you should be given that coherency test. if you pass, you may participate in this site, and if you fail, you may not.

(i think that other beliefs should get in on this too, so the entire forum is all coherent people!)

the test would be composed of fundamental questions of the beliefs of Christianity. After all, if you claim to be a Christian, you should not be allowed to say things that's that go against the Christian text.

all whom agree say yea. all opposed say nay. all incoherent people say "there isn't anything worth debating in the bible, you're stupid."

"Accept the person who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of arguing over differences of opinion." (Romans 14:1)

enable me answer this one. a million. Do you think of Atheists are decent human beings, or in simple terms all immorral trash? To be trouble-free, my opinion of atheists dropped on the grounds that coming here. some are cool, yet I see way too lots hate to place you men back up in the severe status you have been in previously. 2. If I ask a query approximately Christianity, is this an assault on Christians by using fact it particularly is coming from a non-Christian, even thou somebody who's a Christian would have asked the comparable question? relies upon on the form you ask it. i've got considered some polite questions (ie, a real desire to understand the respond) and a few impolite questions (ie, the two "believe me in bashing this faith" or "i do no longer desire to understand the respond different than to make relaxing of this faith"). i will gladly answer any question i will whilst it relatively is asserted with courtesy. 3. Is there a difference between asking a query approximately Christianity, and making an assault on a Christian or Christians ordinarily? See above 4. once you're saying that we non-Christians are bashing you, what relatively does that mean, what's an occasion of "bashing". you like the checklist? I for one am bored with seeing hateful questions that proclaim my faith (or any faith) as a delusion, a crutch for the vulnerable minded, stupid, stupid, out dated, the device of idiots, ignorant, hateful, bloody, spewing rubbish, etc. So what, you do unlike or believe my faith or the different, yet tutor some know and that i will return the prefer. 5. Do you finally end up asking the question, "If guy got here from monkeys, why are there nonetheless monkeys" or "Why do no longer we see monkeys/apes evolving as we talk". Curious, do you ever ask that once which study Evolutionist's solutions? I study them. I frequently end after seeing the 1st "What a stupid Christian" remark. i'm getting much less ulsers that way.

I'm a fundamental Christian and I don't think that's a bad idea. The only thing that I'm "prejudice" against is ignorance. It's important that people defend their point intelligentally and not with bigotry or rude remarks. I'm sorry if you were offended by any of my Christian brothers or sisters.
Please understand also that people (no matter what their belief is) have the right to defend it and to even think (or know) that they are right. That's why it's called a conviction. I would die for my belief in the Lord, Jesus Christ, not because I am ignorant, but because I believe with all of my heart, mind and soul that it is true. It probably offends people that I believe what I believe, but that's okay with me. People get offended and respond rashly instead of giving themselves time to cool off and think about what is being said.

Love and respect to all (even though I don't agree with all) ;-)

i don't think a test of some sort will help weed out "fake" christians.

even when you set up a test... liars and posers can still "know the right answer" or "say the right things" to pass it. it's really not up to us to judge whether or not what you or me or the next person that's going to leave a message here is on the right path in christianity or just whack in the head. only God knows if we're faking a relationship with him or actually living it.

and stop being such a hater... maybe ppl will start respecting you and want to hear what you have to say if you stop judging others first!

Christians have a right on an opinion like anyone has. We have freedom of speech you know. What do you mean its going on to often in our country? Freedom is what our country stands for, what our fathers were fighting for. what do you mean we should not be a l l o w e d to say what is against Christian text? Who are you to demand that? Never heard anything so ignorant!

Whatever your religion is I accept what you have chosen but I don't have to agree with its teachings. If you feel offended on that its your own problem. You can leave yahoo anytime.

Do you think there is one intelligent Person on here that follows your Idea?

I consider myself coherent but don't think that there is anything worth debating in the bible; I don't believe debate is the way to help others learn about Jesus Christ. The bible is not to argue over. It's to inform people of the truth. Whether they can see and hear is up to God, and if they do see and hear it's up to them to choose the truth over lies. God gives everyone that choice, and everyone who is given the chance to debate the bible or not has to make a choice whether they will or not or whether they will seek out the truth in earnest or find something else to do with their time.

Your test sounds fine; however, do you think you can get all the different denominations to agree? Who would have imput as to what goes on this test? Moreover, who would administer it, score it, and decide who got in? It's a thought, but it's not very well thought out. Finally, since this is the good ole USA, no one can tell me what I'm allowed and not allowed to say.

All religions have a say here. If you read the answers of all the people you would see it. As a christian I do not have to explain myself. I would like to discuss it with you. The Bible has been proven right over and over again. Tell me where it is been proven wrong.

First of all I think your suggestion is ridiculous. Second , why are you so against christianity? Are you afraid that maybe your faith may not be the one true faith? Or maybe your against christianity because someone tried to share Christ with you and now you are being convicted by the Holy Spirit that there is only one God, one Father in heaven, and one savior , Jesus Christ. No matter what you try, you will never be able to shut out Jesus. He reigns and lives for ever, hallejulah!

I guess your outnumbered and what you think don't matter. If you don't like the Christians, why in blazes do you enter into this site ? That is like disliking tuna fish and then go smell of the can. You poor thing. You are so mixed up and un-decided. Please ask God to give you wisdom. I mean it. I hope and pray that you will soon see the light. Take care and may God bless you, Always.

Well, isn't it true that these people identify themselves as Christian? If so then the problem is with the teaching, so easily misinterpreted that someone would actually say that Jesus the prince of peace would have fun torturing sinners in hell, as was said in response to an evolution question a few days ago.
