Nope. There is such a thing as "light treatment" for skin, but that's a totally different animal. It's "blue light" not "ultraviolet light" (the light that kills your cells to tan you) of the tanning beds.
There's a controlled ultraviolet treatment, but it's more than simply laying in a tanning bed.

Tanning beds aren't very good for anything except for tanning, and even that's risky since you are in effect kills cells off to get the tan and making the cells work extra hard to heal, leading to cancer.

I'm providing some links, but use your good judgment before considering paying for treatments or products. I have no idea if these people are reputable.

If the cold sores are gone, then you probably just need to keep your lips as moist as possible. Medicated lip balm like Blistex always helps me on the down side of a cold sore.

Cold sores are caused by Herpes. There is no way that a tanning bed is going to get rid of herpes.
Pimples are caused by bacteria. There is no way that a tanning bed is going to kill bacteria.
I don't know where you got that idea, but that is biologically impossible.

Whenever my daughter visits her dermatologist, he always tells her to get some sun. He says that he helps -- and it does. Her face is totally clear the entire summer months.
