If it was a long term relationship and you were mostly happy then I would say go back to her to discuss the reasons things went so wrong!

If you didn't have doubts about splitting up you wouldn't be on here asking us!

So for your own satisfaction i should see how things are and talk to her about things.

You will feel better if you try even if you fail because at least you will know for sure.

If you arent intuned with one another you were right in breaking up with her. Both man and woman need respect no doubt about that.Did you respect her? If she said something that you didnt want to hear why did you break it off so suddenly? Must of been bad whatever she said. So i only know one side of the story. But as you said YOU were the one who broke it off. So what i am hearing is you did right. Good luck to you and hey man there are more fish in the sea just find one that truly loves you and will respect you and you in turn respect her.

If she isn't going to respect you now, then she wouldn't respect you while your married. I think you made the right decision. You will find the woman of your dreams and she will respect you. Just be patient and keep looking.

If the words were so powerful that you could not stand to live with her then you did the right thing. If she was just mad or upset and did not mean disrespect, then you should have stayed.
