In my experience (and talking to a lot of female friends), the only time ANY pick-up line will work is if the girl is VERY attracted to you. Or drunk.
The rest of the time, a pick-up line sounds like...a pick-up line. And that's not very flattering.
The best way to break the ice is to be courageous and...be honest! Say "Hi, I'm (name). I saw you across the room and really wanted to talk to you."

are you straight? No, that won't work. She'll be turned off. Besides, if you said it to a 10 she would already know she had a nice body and would have heard that a million times. Go with something funny instead.

i wouldn't hold it againest you for long, i'd just walk away, then pay more attention to u during the day, to c if i liked you, and just never noitced.
No cheezy lines has worked on me. Only sweet, "ya no what? i love you." then he'd ask me out. like a day lata.
the worst i've heard is hey is ur name summer, cause ur hotter than hell, it was sooooo stupid.

lol, my friend comes up with the cheesiest pick up lines too!. but sometimes it's cute. i'd say, if u seriously eman it, no. i mean. like go up to her say hi, joke around and ask her what u did just now. that'd maybe get a laugh out of her. or ask her with somethnig even more cheesier! she might find it cute, or funny.
