The best way to spread the faith is through your life, through your actions. That you not ony proclaim the good news by words but that they are followed by your way of living, this is the most powerful way to let others see the presence of Christ and the fruits of the faith in a person: to see it real.

Also, it is the obligation of all baptized to evangelize in the world he/she lives. Through word and deed.

Unfortunately there are so many nominal catholics that their behavior and example are very detrimental to the true essence of the church.

God bless

If you took a Bible course and discovered what SCRIPTURAL TYPOLOGY is you would be amazed. If you knew what SALVATION HISTORY was in the Bible you would understand. If you recognized DIVINE AUTHORITY you would know that there has to be someone in authority to reveal the "secret" truths God has given. If you research all those phrases you will begin a journey of discovery that will last a life time.

We have a saying in Catholicism: the New Testament is hidden in the Old and the Old is revealed in the New. There are many mysteries contained in the Bible that I have been amazed at discovering for the past 20 years and there is a whole lot more. St. Jerome said: Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ. The whole Bible is about our SALVATION: Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament about the Messiah you can discover 50 of them in cd's IT IS WRITTEN.

WHEN YOU HAVE BEGUN TO DISCOVER THESE THINGS YOU WILL KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY MAN. Jesus (a historical figure along with others in the Bible that are not fictitional characters) by fulfilling just 50 prophesies makes the odds of doing that 10X135 power! An astronomical figure that could not have been achieved by human means.

The thing that might shock you and others is that SATAN used scripture to tempt Jesus. So, too Satan will use scripture to trip us up from following the true faith. This is why there has to be DIVINE AUTHORITY that passes from the Old Testament to APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION in the New Testament. This is why someone cannot Authoritatively pick up a Bible and correctly interpret it nor can there be millions of interpretors to HOLY SCRIPTURE. There can only be one!

Hope everything goes well for you.

catholic answers has pamphlets and guidelines, you can get to them through ewtn.com or google catholic answers, most of the sites that pop up should be beneficial. you can also request to become a volunteer for ewtn, they will send you a packet of information you can gloss over, ewtn broadcasts on cable/regulare staion, has a website and i believe they also have a radio station. for the rest, learn the gospels and the teachings of the church and the significance and importance of the church, special focus when talking to protestants are usually mary, saints, eucharist, call no man father(pertaining to us calling priests father),the popes infallibility and many more. pray for gods help when evangelising and be kind, patient and with charity in your heart. if something comes up that you can't answer do not ignore it or give any attempt to answer, let the person know that you are not sure on the issue, apologise and ask if you will research the answer and discuss it another time. do not put down the other person for their belief and don't let the other person bombard you with questions, share your time, ask questions aswell as answering, do not allow the other person to dominate the conversation. remember knowing scripture is important but knowing the right scripture and using the context of scripture is more valuable and more important. don't go into a battle of this verse says this or even the translations, knowing some of the bibles tongues is good but not neccessary. you can also find helpful books at your local or nearest catholic christian store. god bless and good luck in spreading the good news.

fairly, you could't baptize someone involuntarily till they are in coming near near danger of demise. The Catholic Church would under no circumstances keep on consisting of your suggestion because we keep on with Jesus' training that one and all ought to "count number the fee" prior to time, because of this we spend a lot more desirable time educating human beings and giving them counsel before receiving them into the church. in evaluation to some church homes which have those nutty altar calls at the same time as someone intense on emotional frenzy (commonly man made by using the preacher) can "commit" to Christ with little or no understanding of what it potential to be a Christian. also, fornicating in the front of the pope is rude, unlawful (public indecency) and sinful, yet no longer excommunication element stuff.

I have always like the saying of St. Francis of Assisi:

"Proclaim the Gospel always. If necessary use words."

We have all been given different gifts and vocations. Find, develop, and live your gifts in your vocation.

With love in Christ.

Invite your friends to come to Mass with you. That's always a good start. Introduce them to your pastor or priest.
