Some days he'll make it really obvious and happen to show up at all the places I am and glance at me a lot , almost stalker-like, and he'll want to be near me, etc.
Other days, he barely seems to acknowledge me, is he trying to not scare me away or is he just not interested and I'm getting the wrong idea?
This is really quite confusing, any incite into this would be helpful. =/

And to Maxon: I like him a lot, I just don't get why he just won't talk to me instead of getting close and retreating the next day, hrm..
I guess I could just start talking to him.

Okay my best friend has been through this many times. and every boy she has experienced this with they are all alike in many ways but they all seem different also. I guess the boy is confused also, he probably likes u too! He just doesn't no either if you like him either. but u know us as ladies have to step up so i advise you to just go up to him yourself, there may be a slight chance he may deny it, but if he does then later on in the day or through out the week he might keep thinking about you and get attracted to you even more i wish you good luck!!!!

He most definitly likes you.
He is probably a shy/nervous type and doesnt want to confront you about it, and probably doesnt know what to do.
The times he is away and barly noticed you, he is indeed probably trying not to scare you, thats if when he does pay attention to you its either noticible or odd, so he trys to not make himself seem creepy and odd.
If you like him back, feel free to approach him and talk to him on of those days he is admiring you from afar, if you dont like him, then just ignore him I guess.

You didn't say what your feelings are about him . His attitude is a little weird. Maybe he's shy. Next time you see him go and talk to him about anything and watch his reaction.

just come straight out and ask him what his deal is and if he has feelings for you or not so he can quit wasting your time if he doesnt!!!
