No, its a sad fact of life. unfortunately, everybody dies. I'm more scared of the method I'll die by. I don't want to go out slowly and in pain.

Nope. Why be scared of something that eventually happens to everyone? You can't change the fact that it's going to happen at some point, so being scared of it is a waste of energy.

I am, however, scared of the method of death - I have a fear of drowning, and I also hate the idea of being either physically or mentally incompetent but still "healthy". I hope that if I get to the point where I have no quality of life that someone will do the humane thing and end my suffering.

First, as an atheist, I know that this life is all we get...and no, I am not scared of death at all.
I have had a great life, fathered two incredible kids who will make the world a better place...and I have made thousands of folks laugh.
Life is good....I'll enjoy what time I have left and have no regrets

and who knows...I may be wrong about there being no afterlife....I'll find out soon enough

Why, are you kicking the bucket anytime soon? There are people who don't fear death. Doesn't really mean anything. Look at antiquity. Caesar once said it was easier to find a man ready to die than one that would endure. Most people fear death but aren't clear why. It's really a spirit thing. Your spirit knows something your head doesn't. Or doesn't want to acknowledge. To me, death is a portal to the next existence. But you determine that in the here and now. That's why I don't believe in time travel. Time, once used, doesn't exist. Like a fuse. Once llit, not good for what it was intended anymore.

no, I think that happened over time. I've totalled two cars and not a scratch on me. I've been in so many near fatal accidents that I'm not even scared of those anymore. My job (in the USAF) is to handle explosives and dangerous weapons daily. One wrong move and everyone with in a 4,000 ft radius can get killed/injured.

I am scared of pain though. Dying painfully would suckass!

No. But if Heaven existed and I went there... THEN I'd be scared. I would never want to live forever - expecially in an always happy state of mind. I'd have no personalty then. I'd just be another drone of happy freaks. Life is precious BECAUSE it ends - we die and don't go anywhere. Why fear death?

Hell yeaa!!!!

What is worst than death nothing, everything ends all ur hopes and dreams go unfulfilled. You never get to experience anything you like ever again.

I think almost everyday how bad it would be if i died. Everyone is scared of death, but most pretend they are not!!!

No, what scares me is the way the I will die. ,

but if you have any understanding it would not worry about death. The first death is merciful. The second death is the death you should worry about. The lake of fire.

No. it's life that concerns me. Death has no meaning for me, because I will not be around to notice.
People who fear death, have not yet lived.
