i found a stray last night while getting money from the ATM (it sounded like the "meows" were coming from inside the ATM @ first lol)...ne wayzzzz....he was skinny and cold, but fine other than one of his back paw "pads" was kinda torn up a bit, nothing major but a lil managled and dried blood n stuff, it didnt look great tho.....so my question is, was it ok that i put peroxide with a Q-tip on his lil pad??? is it just for humans or was that ok?

Yes, it is safe, providing it was not a deep, open wound. Doesn't sound like it from your description. If he didn't seem to mind, keep doing it for a few days to prevent infection.
If he objected too much, then try some Neosporin instead.

You can absolutely use hydrogen peroxide. It might sting a little bit, but it will be safe. It would be a good idea for a vet to take a look just to make sure the kitten is healthy.

First of all that will work fine on him. You are a great person for bringing in this poor thing. Give him lots of love and care and buy him toys from www.fatcatinc.com. It's a great company that shares it's wealth with very small town animal shelters. Help them out and buy a great toy from them!

i always used peroxide on my pets lol i never asked anyone if it was wrong... but i do know that they can use triple antibiotics (neosporin) and alcohol so i wouldnt think peroxide would be a problem like i said i've ALWAYS used it :)

I have heard that using peroxide can actually damage skin tissue. Do you have any witch hazel? That might be better for the clean up.
If not, use the H202 it will not do much harm.

That is fine. We had to use peroxide to clean out a scratch my cat got by his eye from a fight. It wont hurt them. when you take it to the vet, look for their bottle! (they use it too)

No problem with that. Treat him kind and you will have a friend for as long as he lives.

I've used it before and my cat was fine. I'm pretty cautious about what I give my cats, too.
