NIQAB(why ban)?

WHY ARE YOU SO-CALLED CHRISTIANS,JEWS AND WHATEVER RELIGION ARE INTIMIDATED BY US FEMALE MUSLIMS COVERING UP OUR BEAUTY ?
AND FOR THE WOMEN THAT DOESNT COVER 90% OF YOUR BODY PARTS DOES IT MAKE U SHAMEFUL WHEN YOU SEE US AND SEE YOUR SO-CALLED MEN GIVEN US MUCH RESPECT.LIKE RUNNING TO HOLD THE DOOR OPEN AT A LOCAL GROCERY STORE AND KNOWING IT BURNS U UP INSIDE BECASUE THEY DONT DO THAT FINE ACT TO YOU BUT TO STRANGERS(MUSLIM WOMEN)
YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY!
BECAUSE THEY RESPECT US .

i am a muslim, yes it hijab and face veils should be banned especially in universities, government buildings like schools and college. But veils should be totally banned even for shopping, nobody should cover their identity unless you are a thief, balaclava has been banned but the veil is worser than that because it cover the whole face

What an impressive rant! :-)

You have a right to wear whatever you want. I see women in my town wearing head covers or even full body covers sometimes. I think that is fine; they look lovely.

I would rather see a woman completely covered that see one more woman in low rise jeans with her *** hanging half out. (now that is offensive)

I can see the attraction of wearing a full body cover..I could wear my pajamas all day, or not bother to brush the tangles out of my hair.

On the other hand, it would probably get in the way - I'd be shutting it in the car door and driving down the street w/ part of it hanging out looking like a food. Or I'd get my toe stuck in the hem going up stairs and fall on my face.

I guess I will leave veils to the experts. I think I am better off in jeans and a tshirt.

But, I respect the right of a woman to wear whatever she feels comfortable in.

Only ignorant people and politicians are intimidated by it. Don't let the ignorance get you that upset, it only raises your blood pressure, which isn't good. May I suggest instead focus on praying that their (ignoramuses) heads come out of their collective rear ends? In the meantime we'll keep airing the reality of how some of you ladies feel about niqab and hijab and the truth of it. As a Buddhist, I've got your "back" on it and pray for an end to such ignorance myself.

What makes you think you are more respected? Maybe some men just imagine what is under your cover. Do you think men's thoughts stop at your cloth? Don't you think some men like women that play hard to get? Undress you in their fantasy?

Maybe its you that's feeling shameful, shameful of been looked at, maybe you have been told a woman's body is sinful as it moves soft and smooth like a cat. You feel responsible how men react on you.Yes you even take off their responsibility of guarding their thoughts and feelings.

I'm over 40 and never have I felt disrespected by men. Not in a swimsuit nor in shorts or skirt. And yes we have these polite men too that open doors, carry our heavy bags, offer their seat and so on...

and believe me under your cover you are not different from us. Not better and not worse. Just woman.

I have noticed that jealousy also, they must hate it because we earn the respect of THEIR husbands, while they have the doors slammed in their faces. It is so simple, dress respectfully, act respectfully, Get treated with respect.

Save the "sexiness" for your husband, he'll appreciate it much more if he knows that this is ONLY for him and not half the town.

i won't comment about the question but i would say one thing:
Shiney or what ever she calls herself is really rude and i wouldn't ever consider her as a muslim woman because she is making bad reputation about my religion and i won't ever allow her to do that!
