What goals did you make for this year? Have you completed all of them? If not, you should focus on completing your goals.

If you have no goals or have completed them, find something else. Have you ever considered visiting an old friend? If that is not something you would like to do, go visit a stranger.

What I mean is when I was in the military I felt depressed during the holidays. I decided to go to a nursing home. I spoke to a few people, but there was this one man who reminded me of my grandfather who passed four years prior. It was nice to talk to him and listen to his stories. I returned on Christmas day, brought him a gift and spent the day with someone rather than being alone and away from my family. I felt much better about being alone for the holidays.

I hope this helps.

Yeah, i wager i'm. My money is fairly tight on the instantaneous and that is stressing me out and depressing me. i'm also attempting to circumvent sugar because i'm getting depressed when I devour too a lot of it. a reliable communication with a reliable chum commonly distracts me from both so i'm really made satisfied back.

Well, you can try meeting someone online :) It worked great for me!

Good place to meet people: www.SecondLife.com

Second Life is a chat/game type of place where you can look anyway you can imagine as well as build things. It has everything you would find in real life only it's a virtual world. It's a good place to hook up with nice people and start chatting with them on AIM or whater MSG program you use. Online relationships work but it requires webcams, photographs, telephone conversations, and eventually meeting the person for real. I met my bf this way and we've been together for 2 years now. This is why I recommend trying this if you have no luck meeting someone where you live. Good luck and have FUN!

You need to go to the nearest shelter and offer to help with the Christmas meal. This way you are doing somethiing special and you will be appreciated by everyone there. Be happy you are alive and well and not living on the street. There are so many unfortunate people in this world. You have to deal with your emotions the best way you can .. try to help someone else this CHristmas.... it will make you feel better.....
You have to change your attitude about life and live it to the fullest everyday... Get busy and get into a hobby.....meet some new people join a club and get some mental stimulation.... you need to focus your energy somewhere other than thinking about poor me......get up off the couch and get busy... People out there need your help....

The holidays can be the loneliest time for some people so you're not alone. However, I think you may need some professional help with your depression. You need to go to your family doctor and let him/her how you feel...then they can help you! Do not feel embarressed...there are lots of people with some form of depression!!! Good luck!!!

Just hang on one day at a time...this too will pass and although it doesn't seem like it now...you will be happy again...the sun also rises!

I have to remind myself of that too!
