Yes, I am a liberal Christian and I am very frustrated and hurt and tired of all the hate and bitterness and finger pointing. Do not ask this kind of question and then come on to me with crap like this when I click the question, its dishonest and rude. I know you will just say I are the rude one, but frankly I do not care anymore. You win...obviously there is no God and nothing worth believing in or living for. At least not in this thread. PAC

It's easier to let someone else decide things for you than to go through the evaluation and time it takes to find answers to ethical questions of life, the universe, and everything.
Net Creativity allows all religions to have their fun, but requires that they ultimately think about the purpose of humanity in the natural universe context.
(Net Creativity is the usefulness we create minus the resources we consume.) God is the ultimate Net Creative ethic: creating everything from nothing.
Even though this concept is simple, it is too abstract and guilt-producing for people to really take it to heart. Who among us can honestly say we create more for the universe (or even our children) than we are consuming?

I don't see people accepting faith blindly. They put a lot of thought into their faith. I never become frustrated with other people beliefs. I love it and try to be very respectful though disagreeable with it. Maybe you should pay a little more attention to what they have to say and not look at them so blindly yourself.

I get irritated by other people pushing their faith onto people. I am a muslim woman, and Islam really does freedom of religion. Islam is not right for some people, just as other religions are not. People should be free to do as they so choose as long as nobody is harmed in the process. If you want to believe that a CD case is God, then you go for it. Just don't push it onto me. To you be your way and to me mine. If you are peaceful towards me, I will be more than peaceful towards you. My friends all know that i am a generous person. If I am shopping, and I see something I know one of my friends likes, I will buy it and gift it to them. It doesn't matter what religion they are, and I have friends of all religions and ethnicities. My mother is a Catholic and I give her gifts all of the time.

Er..Silver - I think you are perhaps mistaken about Occam's Razor. I don't believe it is a principle that supports blind faith. Quite the opposite in fact, I believe.
Occam's Razor is a term that refers to the principle of recognizing that the most simple explanation for an event is usually the correct one. So instead of saying, "my cow died because it was cursed by that witch who had sold her soul to Satan and therefore should be burned at the stake tomorrow"; we would say: "your cow fell down a gully and broke her leg and died of exposure - get your matches away from me."
Occam's razor can be used to debunk blind faith.
Having said all that, I do get frustrated by peoples' religious views :-)

You have to understand that all the people of this planet, are at different levels of personal evolution. You cannot convince someone, or something, if they first cannot understand the concept of it. a lot people are not interested in finding out anymore than they already know when it comes to spirituality.
We must all have tolerance for everyone, and their views on life. Their personal evolution will lead them where they need to go, and they will grasp different concepts as they need to.

I'm not troubled by anyone's beliefs, or choice in religion, unless they try to force them on to me, or tell me there is something wrong with me for not believing the same thing.
Or if they think I should go to war and kill people because, those people somewhere else, believe something different or call God by a different name.

there isn't any justifying their movements. the way a number of those human beings positioned forth their perspectives on faith ought to nicely be down good hateful - and a good type of them, regrettably, do not see it as being as such. They sense that they are 'assisting' you go in the route of the 'good' way. even with the undeniable fact that, they fail to comprehend that no longer all and dissimilar can artwork nicely interior of their own concept platforms. for my area, I do get somewhat aggravated after I see someone asking a nicely which ability question touching on to faith and get lower back no longer something yet hateful comments. it truly is type of a shame that you'll't inquire about their ideas with out them assuming that you're in with the 'devil'. the human beings i have considered ask and answer questions the following with regard to Christianity have made me question the 'morals' they're being taught. i received't be of the 'faith' yet a minimum of i do not bash human beings, call them names, or act hateful in the route of others who do not stick with my way of wondering. recognition is accurate.

I sometimes do, especially when it interferes with the real world and real everyday life. For example, there are fanatics who want Harry Potter books banned. Come on, now, folks! Those are fantasy and fiction, for starters. And thanks to the Harry Potter books, many of our kids are enriching their lives by reading instead of watching TV. How can that be immoral?
