God has made us to live in relationship with him and other people. Therefore, we are always involved in social interactions with everyone around us, including family members and friends, casual acquaintances, and total strangers. These interactions revolve around us influencing others, as well as us being influenced by them. The possibilities of social influence have brought up questions of the use they have for Christians efforts to influence others. While a variety of the techniques have been effective, it's God's job to change other people. Belief and behaviors are practically inseperable. My personal view on altruism is that where it is a regard for the welfare of others. I believe that when there are people in need, if there is anyway to help you should. But in another sense of my own personal views I won't stop and help people, because you never know what kind of person they may be. But I will donate to help others.

Yeah I liked that up to the point of you won't help people because you never know what kind of person they may be.

That is when you ask for the gift of discernment - A Holy Spirit Gift.

I use my discretion as a girl I won't stop to help a boy fix his car on the side of the road, a) HE probably knows more than I do about. b) I can't be that much help c) it could be a set up.

Of course you keep yourself safe, but if somebody comes up and asks you for money would it hurt to take them into the nearest food place and buy them a meal? (although sometimes they will decline because they wanted money)

Let your actions speak for themselves,
and speak when spoken to. GOD knows the heart of men.

Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!

"Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One"

(Shema Yisrael Adonai eloheinu Adonai ehad)

That's basically a good plan. Case by case.

We should not be recruiting people to become Christian. That is the Father's position.

"No man can come to me, except the Father, which has sent me, draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day" (John 6:44).

i think you spend WAY too much time telling god what he is doing. You have no basis in reality, or in fact, for these ASSUMPTIONS (and they are huge assumptions) about God. If we were supposed to "live in relationship with him", then why the heck doesn't he show up now and then? If he wants us to have a "relationship" with him, then why would he never even bother to give us proof of his existence? (And NO, the Bible is not "proof" of his existence, they are simply words that a MAN wrote and called "the word of god")

properly, i must assert that I agree, type of. i'm christian, yet I trust you on both that you suggested, gay marriage and abortion, even with the actual shown truth that i ought to by no skill do both because i comprehend that they are sinful. I trust you because why have a democracy if we are not truly going to be a democracy? why have freedom if we are not truly going to be loose? the alternative is ours, God gave us that, yet i imagine that maximum christians do not forget that human beings are incapable of creating the right options each and each and every of the time so in the journey that they take that decision away, this is now unlikely to ensue, yet residing interior the devil's international, this is only not the case. we ought to besides adjust it and have a glance at to enable ppl slowly understand WHY God informed us now to not do it. does that help? i do not comprehend what to assert, I only hate seeing human beings bypass hostile to christianity only because of yet another christian. the bible says to believe interior the note of God, and believe in Jesus, and to seek after the daddy with all of your heart and also you may discover Him. it doesn't say to believe and believe in different christians, because they are going to alwayz help you down. do not search for after God with the help of the worx of others both. in elementary words through your human being heart. he will tutor himself to you.

What are you talking about. Gods Job!!!

It is your job to change yourself and do the will of God. Jesus said that I come to do the will of my father and speak only what my father sent me to speak.
