Carve an IOU letter on the trunk of a tree somewhere in the woods, date it from the 1880's. Next time your hanging out with your friend , pretend to get a strange intuition that your drawn into the woods. Have you friend come with you. Mysteriously, find the tree with the "old" IOU letter carved in it. $$$

PS-remember not to mention I Pods, video games, cell phones, etc, in you IOU letter.

How can you be sure that it's not you who are the one owing your friend's money from 3 lifetimes ago? Maybe that's why you're destined to give him/her money and he/she never return it.

From your question,you must have taken a loan or are in debt to your friend and trying to justify for not paying him.From my personal experience,your excuse is not very original!Few of my debtors used that excuses!
