Which one do you like best?

Im on the Sunshine Coast and I have to get to Sydney in Feb. Should I go Virgin Blue or Jetstar? They are the same price.

I do tend to call Jetstar Sh_it Star but have they improved in the last 12 months or is Virgin still better?????

So, Virgin or Jetstar????

I DO NOT WANT WEBSITES FOR ANSWERS, JUST PERSONAL EXPERIANCE OR IF FRIENDS HAVE TOLD YOU ABOUT THESE AIRLINES!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!

I fly with them both quite often.

Virgin is definitely the better airline. I really don't like the lack of seat allocation on Jetstar. Instead, they have colour coded boarding passes based on how early you check in. It creates an unneccesary mess at check in.

I had one experience where we were late to take off and I knew that I would be really pushing it to make an international connection in Sydney (I also live on the Sunshine Coast). They would not assist me by putting me near the front of the plane so I could race to my next flight, all because I didn't have the right coloured boarding pass.

It is a one hour flight. Expect crappy service on either, so buy yourself a good magazine to read on the flight. Just get the cheapest tickets at the most convenient time.
