if i cant say anything nice i shouldn't say anything at all.
well to be honest, even though i disagree with his handling of iraq, i can understand his vision for a smaller more agile military. however putting that vision into practice while also trying to fight two wars on the other side of the world was a dubious decision at best.

Both need to study their history, not count their buck's. Rummy was a complete idiot who basically got us in this mess in Iraq and kept us there. One third the effort in 2001-02 by three good divisions in force then, the 82nd, 101st, and 10th mountain, with the support of what we actually used, and this war would be over.Osma Bin Ladin would be long planted and feeding flowers and Al Queada destroyed. Iran would be quiet, North Korea same, and Red China exactly like it is now. Trying to get it's hand on our technology and reverse engineer it.
