Why is he so bummed out? After all, he did break up with me. And I guess its because he sees me happy. Does that bother him because I'm tired of everything that he's done to me. Why can't he just get over it when I am completely over him and I like someone else?

Just go on and live your life. It's his problem that he broke up with you and is probably regretting it.

Mean and sad looks come from a mean and manipulative guy using the old hate-love seesaw trick. He wants to keep you emotionally off balance and control you. Be polite but distant and stay focussed on that new lucky someone else. When the foolishness doesn't work, then he might grow up and be more civil.

your pretty much answered your own question too many people do not want their ex to be happy if they are not and way too many people think that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence until they spend much time there then you are on that other side and may look tempting again but out of reach because he was and idiot in the first place. Solution forget anyone who does not hold you in esteem and honor their side of the situation it is his problem no longer yours so get him out of your mind and out of your face you will be better off for it.

Well obviously he regrets breaking up with you, and most likely he still likes you well...try not to tlak about who you like in front of him because it may take him a while to understand that your OVER him.

well most everybody always has some form of feelings for their ex no matter what happened.
I say get away from your ex as much as possible because it just makes it harder for the both of you. then when he's not around anymore, we can screw away.

he's having a hard time moving on and is sad that even though he broke up with you that you have moved on and have gotten on with your life because he cant because he has some unresolved feelings...
