Funny, I was just wondering that the other day. I suppose wearing seat belts gets more attention since there are many more people who drive cars. Not to mention children ride in the cars too. Either way I don't think government has any right to dictate that people wear seat belts, avoid fatty foods, or whatever. People should have the right to make personal decisions even if they are stupid.

That's how it is, and it's not only in Texas. The only way to fix it is to fight it and get it amended. You gotta get a politician or popular government personality to back you up.

I mean, how is it that it's illegal to be driving without a license plate and yet cyclists are free to join the traffic to cross and turn left at intersections?

in tx, u have to meet the following parameters: be 21 or over, have passed an approved mc safety course, have a sticker issued by the state dps, and have a minumum of 10g insurance coverage. in ohio, for a rider to go lid free, he/she has to be licensed 1 yr or over and be 21 or over.

because when accidents happen ..the driver of the car ..will hit the inside of the windsheild....
where.as. the motor bike ryder.. will be the bug on the windsheild .. when he hits the cars windsheild..mmm....
