Love is feeling empty when your best friend , wife or mate aren't with you , Love is know that you two were meant to be together for the true understanding of another . Love is know that that person will always have your back no matter what . And love is watching a mother stroke her new born babies head in order for the baby to know she will love him/her for the rest of it's life .

The greatest of philosophers and psychologists even have a hard time answering this. But from a academic definition love is a series of chemical events that happen in the brain and body to help a couple (male and female) pair bond so that they can have children and stay together to raise their offspring into adulthood. Since humans take 20 years to mature having both parents stay together is VERY important to ensure the baby's survival, whereas most animals mate and split, or mate with many females. In the insect world the females even EAT the males after mating. Talk about tough love! lol
As for my personal definition of love, it's a psychological and strong emotional state of being that connects you with another person so deeply that they become a crucial part of yourself. One cannot be without the other ^^

Love is a feeling of happieness, thats it. You love someone that makes you happy thats why you got a girlfriend or boyfriend or even family, its really just something in the mind because some people love people when they don't but true love is like I said its a feeling of happyness.

Love is an undefinable human state that confuses the heck out of everyone involved.......
but as a guideline you could consider these things to be things which are involved in the state of love...
attraction: you like being around the person
affection: you feel okay about bodily contact and even seek it from them
integrity: you can be your genuine self around them and they in turn can be themselves around you and it is okay.... even if neither of you is perfect and both of you know it..
warmth: you feel a sense of internal warmth when you think of them and they in turn feel that when they think of you..
respect: you respect the kind f person that they are and they in turn respect the kind of person that you are.
gentleness: you are gentle towards them and they are gentle towards you.
independance: each person can act, speak, think, and feel independantly of the other and there is freedom between you so that can happen.
trust: each of you trusts yourselves and each other to do the right thing in most situations.
positive mutual regard: this means that each person thinks, acts and feels positive towards the other person.They have positive regard for one another.They find good things in one another. They acknowledge the good in one another.
encouragement: you encourage one another in all of your endeavours even the ones not shared.

I say "There is no "I" in love". Its all about consideration. So sometimes when your partners being silly insecure,thats more important that whats really happening. Your no longer living your life.but a united life.Being friends is very important and sharing the same values is important too.

love is when someone actually care for you and likes you the way you are...who would never put you down...who is really nice and kind to you...who wants to be with you forever...who would never let anyone stab you in the heart...someone who's by your side...who would never let you go...they would fight for you...and always will be with you in your heart...and will call you to mmake sure your okay...take you for walks on the beaach...love is like everything in the world...there's is abillion gaazillion meaning of love...
