I didnt have any macaroni on hand so I used macaroni from Kraft's macaroni and cheese to make a pasta salad. Now I am left with packet of powdered cheese that I didnt use. What are good uses for it?

Use it as a cheese sauce for:

Broccoli

Asparagus

Cauliflower

Brussels Sprouts (yes, I LOVE them)

In a small saucepan, add the contents of the cheese packet and add 1/4 cup of milk and 2 TBS (tablespoons) of butter or margarine and whisk constantly over medium heat till the sauce is smooth and thickens somewhat........then pour it over the veggies I mentioned up above.......sometimes I buy "generic" mac and cheese in the box, JUST FOR THE CHEESE PACKETS!!! I use the macaroni for cold macaroni salads, or add the macaroni to soups, stews, etc......So, you have a packet of instant cheese sauce without all the hassle of doing it from scratch when you are pressed for time......Enjoy!!!

If you add 1/4 cup milk you can always add it to hamburger helper of some sort, other than that, I dont know about any other uses for it.
