I haven't been able to take her to the doctor yet, waiting for insurance reasons. She is one year, and since she was a baby her creases in her elbows, wrists, knees and ankles get really dry, cracked and red. She wakes up at night itching it. I give her oatmeal baths twice weekly, I use Aveeno anti-itch cream, I use Jojoba oil, I use Eucerin cream...it never goes away, it keeps coming back! What is the deal? Any other thing I can put on her skin to not only help with itching, but to make it GO AWAY???

If it is excema, don't use Eucerin. That irritated my son's skin. Try Curel's fragrance free lotion. Or look into Arbonne International's baby line. They have lots of baby-skin friendly lotions and soaps and no additives.

And take a look at your household detergents and soaps. Try switching everything she's in contact with to the "free" kinds of detergents (no fragrance, dye or additives). That includes fabric softeners. It made a world of difference for my guy.

Good luck--

YES IT IS ECZEMA!!!! I have eczema and i've had it all my life it doesn't go away but you can use cocoa butter or lubriderm that works pretty good for me. Another thing that i do when i get REALLY itchy is take a bath but i put baby oil in the water that way it moisturizes my whole body. and when she is breaking out DONT I repeat DONT give her aa hot bath it makes it worse give her a cool bath it'll calm some of the itching down and it is very calming. But you should go to the doctor and they will give you a cream that works i don't remember what its called but i know its in a yellow and white tube. O and keep her away from dust, thedust particles will trigger a break out too and unfortunately she might break out when the seasons change because i do. And don't wash her clothes in the powder soap. Me personally i find that tide products don't make me itch. And if you like fabric softner try downy. And when bathing her becareful of the soap you use i use dove because i found that the anti-bacterial soaps like dial and zest etc irritate my skin. After bathing her make sure you put lotion on her right away eczema is jus dry skin and the baths dry her out even more.

HOPE I HELPED!!!!

I have eczema of the hands and I normally get it when I use a lot of soap to wash my hands. I went to the doctor and he told me that eczema normally happens when there is some sort of allergen to trigger it. If you get to the doctor he might be able to give you some sort of steroid cream for your daughter. If it is indeed eczema, which i have no idea, it probably means she's allergic to some food, fabric softener, soap, etc.

Sounds like she does have eczema since those creams etc. haven't done any good. You will need to see a dermatologist.
