Urine could be processed to remove the nasty bits, but if it was to be used as drinking water, it would be no longer resemble urine.

urine is 95% water and the rest is acidic waste that is broken down before it reaches your tap. I assume the percentage is less than 1.

Urine is water basically, it won't be filtered, they only remove some impurities and chemicals, they dezodorise the whole thing and send it back for the taps
