That's what they say, but I just chew a while and spit them out.

pomegranite seeds are delicious.
went to a holiday party this week, had a salad with walnuts, baby argula (sp) and pomegranite seeds, topped with raspberry viniagrette. out of the whole large meal, that's what everyone was raving about.

. According to the Pomegranate Council, when eating a pomegranate, you should 'roll out the arils (juice sacs)', discard everything else, and then 'eat the arils whole, seeds and all.'
They go on to say that it is a 'personal choice' as to whether or not you eat the seeds. However, keep in mind that 'most of the fiber that you get from eating pomegranates comes from that little seed.'

The answer to this is apparently personal pref. because I was taught to pop the little sack with the juice in it and spit out the seed, and cosmo sais to roll it on a table till it gets more mushy than firm in order to release the juices, then stick a straw in it and dring the juice as if it was one of those neat island drinks. Seeds must not be bad for you, because drinking it the cosmo way would include swallowing them, so it is simply personal preff, no right way, no wrong way. Like eating spaghetti, do you cut it up? twirl it with fork and spoon? twirl it on fork and side of bowl/plate? or just fork it into your mouth and "slurp" it up?
Up to you.

You can eat the seeds, they're quite delicious. I don't think people are supposed to eat the fruit itself, though. But you can eat seeds and drink the juice.

certain. you in elementary words gently chew many of the pulp/juice off, and then swallow what's left. The seeds themselves are type of bitter (like the interior dermis & peel), so that you do not truly opt for to chew into them. i wager you should spit out the seeds after in case you needed, yet this is type of a waste, plus you're lacking out on all that good fiber.
