evidence is not just something you believe in or you "feel with all your heart". christianity itself states faith in lord jesus christ with your heart, not with your mind. right off the bat its saying that you need to believe without any evidence. and for those people that say belief in something is evidence i feel sorry that half of your brain is missing. id like to hear some actual arguments instead of the "your going to hell" comment cause i think that just proves me right

If you are agnostic, then you are not denying the possibility of God.
There will always be a 'scientific' reason for any 'miracle'
That's the awesome part. I really believe in free will. I believe that God makes things fuzzy for this purpose. I believe in the spiritual world, and I believe that when one submits themselves to God, they get their evidence through the spirit.
I can use my mind, and logically say, there is not solid evidence that God exists. But my personal evidence comes from the spiritual connection I have. Maybe one day we will find a way to measure the spirit. until then. I wont say that you are going to hell, because, well I am not the one who decides that.
I have found to trust things that go against logic at times. It has done wonders in my life, and saved my marriage.--much love--

One of my favorite verses is Hebrew 11:1
"Now, faith is the substances of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

It shows the two parts of what faith is and why it is real...

When a person has "faith", it will give substance to they things they hope for. For instance, if a person truly believes that they can and will succeed at something, we will strive, work, train, struggle, sacrifice, or whatever it takes to do it. Their faith - their belief in themselves, their cause, their God, their talent - or whatever - will drive them until they succeed. It actually give substance to what they want.

Faith itself is evidence of things not seen. If a person believes there is a God, you can look anywhere and see him. The faith causes you to see evidence that would otherwise be unseen. If a person denies there is a god, they can look anywhere and not see him. The faith causes them to miss the evidence that others see.

So how do I know there is a God? Simple...I started by believing. As soon as I did, that faith gave me the evidence I needed to support that belief. It opened me up to things that are unseen without it.

Faith is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. It makes the impossible possible, and the unseen things clear and visible. Give it a try sometime.

It is a personal relationship that I have and know it.
I was very skeptical when I cried out to God but he showed me that I really had his help and as time went by with my life being under the blessings of the Lord,it has become an automatic relationship now and I know that I know I do.
I am sorry you get a go to hell attitude from people,I understand that oh so well,I have had plenty tell me the same thing when I was younger.

The fact that you are able to ask questions in this world, and come to conclusions....is evidence.

You need to understand, random creation(big bang) anything else one would like to call it...............has no room for a creator!
But.........Science now is saying 'it's looking more like, there is''?
One thing you can do....is Type into Google this:
Todays New Reason To Believe

it is from a scientist

In the bible what you are referring to as "all of your heart" is a referance to putting forth with all your effort, all that you are, your complete being, both your inner and outer man. When the bible mentions just the heart it is referring to the inner man.

This is easy to misunderstand. What you are describing has to do with the duel nature of man, the physical self and the soul or non-physical self. In the great commission Jesus tells us to go out into the world to teach and to baptize. What Jesus is referring to when He says to "teach" are the truth claims of God in the bible. Jesus claims that one of the reasons that He came to earth was to testify to the truth. The truths and promises from God that are given in the bible refer to both sides of mans nature. Some are for the physical man and others refer to the soul man. If you have been born-again and given a new spirit then there are some truth claims in the bible that refer to the spirit man you now are.

The mind of man cannot filter the mind and Spirit of God. That is why until we are "born-again" in spirit we are unable to recieve, understand and accept God's wisdom in our life, because their is not a spirit to Spirit connection. However, when we teach others about God and His nature it is the truth claims of God that are used and many are provable or testable and take place before a profession of faith and request for Jesus to become the Lord of your life ever takes place. When presented with these truths that have not been proven to you, you believe and accept that God is who He says He is turning your belief into faith. You are able to do this because you can now accept that God's word is true because of the truths that you have found to not only be true, they are consistently true.

There are several truth claims that are testable and provable. When the bible says that if we will seek out God with "all of our heart"; mind, body and soul that God will reveal Himself, this is a testable truth claim. When Jesus says, that "no one can come to the Father except through me; If you know me then you know my Father also; and when Jesus says that those that know Him know His voice," these are all truth claims that go together and are testable with real and tangible results. The biggest result is that you are now in a personal relationship with the Living God, the Creator of the universe and all life in it. You are no longer only able to learn about God now you actually get to know Him and He knows you by your name.

You are absolutely one of my favorites on here.

There is so much beyond the bible. I will not live a life that is limited by a book.

We can all learn from each other, in so many ways. Different spiritual ideas, or lack of, are not a bad thing. I love it when I am sent to the wikipedia because there is something that I am unfamiliar with. My mind is worth the effort.

Forget religion.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

The physical evidence is life and creation.

The spiritual evidence is in His Word.

Your heart is your mind, both can be used interchangeably.

God’s Word is His Spirit the Spirit of truth or the Holy Spirit. Not the printed text but God’s will, plan, thoughts, wisdom, knowledge, and His feelings the printed text conveys.

Then there is blessed assurance. Something you will never understand unless you study His Word.

If there is a god, god then gave us a brain/intelligence. I understand that one needs faith. But one doesn't want to be a "blind" follower either.

your going to hell. lol funniest thing ever. If there is a god, I am fairly certain that god would be determining that and not any mundane human beings.
