What were the cicumstances, did it hurt the family?

Yes I knew someone who shot himself. His family was devastated, each one left wondering what sign they missed, what they should have done.

Yes, I know someone who committed suicide. His wife collapsed mentally and emotionally. Not a good thing. Family members are usually pretty badly hurt by such an action, as they blame themselves.

Yes, and it does hurt the whole family and all friends. Suicide feelings are in need of help. Mental illness comes in many forms. This person I knew always threaten suicide to keep someone to stay with him. Well as she walked out the door the gun shot was heard. This person needed counseling. Now alot of people are left here to hurt in diffrent ways. If you are the one thinking of it please seek help first, its there.

yes it hurt the family and friends. you have no idea how much. i know the mom of the girl's best friend. she (the friend) killed herself. the daughter is haunted by this, everything she does (school, prom, graduation, marriage, babies) is haunted by the fact that her friend is not there. I know that to commit suicide that person is in ALOT of pain - but it is the most selfish act that one could do. even though at the time you think you are doing them a favor - you really are causing SO much pain.

No, not personally, but no doubt the families would be devastated, knowing that their family member was suffering so
much and that they didn't do anything to stop them.
no matter how bad things get, u should always talk to somebody,a professional is best, there is always a solution or u
would feel better.

yes i know someone who commited suidicide and it devasted the family. they blamed themselves, had no idea this person was so depressed and did not see it coming. no chance to say good-bye and years later are still suffering the grief and pain from this tradgedy. if you or someone you know is contemplating suicide please urge them to get help. i know life can seem hopless for i have been there myself, but suicide is a very selfish act and leaves many painful victims in its wake, also can tear families apart.

my friend committed suicide many years ago and his family was never the same and you know what none of his friends are the same either because no one saw it coming but everyone thinks they should have seen it coming and somehow stopped it, so now i am asking you... are you asking this question because you yourself are planning such an act? because if you are please don't do it. tell someone you know and get some help

my husband committed suicide 5 years ago, we have 4 kids. our family still isn't over it. i have had a lot of depression issues due to his death. i am just beginning to get my life back together now. there still are really tough days for all of us, but it has gotten easier. i still miss him everyday. suicide is so unfair to everyone that is left behind.
