What is better for your hair.. blow dryer or infuser and why?

I have been told that an infuser is but I don't remember why. I don't like infusers at all. I use a blow dryer on cool instead of medium or hot and I hold it about 12 inches away from my head. I also don't let my hair completely dry with the dryer. It seems to be working for me - less split ends and my hair is growing longer now. Been doing this for about a year.

Blow dryer.

Both will dry out your hair. Let your hair air dry.
