This is one of my poems I wrote for the one that I love. Just wanted to know what you all think of it.
IF EVER I COULD BE A VISION FROM YOUR EYES,
I WOULD BE THAT LOOK THAT YOU SOMETIMES GET,
WHEN YOU GAZE WITH INTEREST.
IF EVER I COULD BE ONE SPECIAL KISS,
I WOULD BE THE ONE FILLED WITH DESIRE,
LONGING FOR THE CONSTANT TOUCH OF YOUR LIPS.
IF EVER I COULD BE JUST ONE LONG SMILE,
I WOULD BE THE ONE I GET WHEN I THINK OF YOU,
AND LONG FOR YOUR WARM EMBRACE.
IF EVER I COULD BE ONE EXAMPLE OF LOVE,
I WOULD BE EVERY FEELING THAT I GET
WHEN I LOOK AT YOU, THINK OF YOU, TOUCH YOU.
BUT I AM GLAD TO KNOW I GET TO BE ME,
KNOWING THAT I HAVE YOU IN MY HEART,
AND ALL THESE FEELINGS HELP ME SEE IT EVERY DAY.

Honestly, if a man ever wrote me any sort of poem, I'd be ecstatic and I'd probably shed a few tears. Men don't generally write poetry unless they are head over heels. Or a serial killer. Anyway. I think it's great and I hope your g/f appreciates it too.

if ever you would remove the caps lock so that your poetry could be read by complete strangers... to read the captured sentiment that poured from your heart that day when the moon and sea became one... fused and confused and used like a scrap of nonsense scribbled on a flower.
