If it were for me, I could stay at home forever... I never wanna go out. I have to because I study and I work but I'm always longing to come back home. I rarely go out with friends, I'm rarely interested. I have to make a sort of effort to go out... and I can only go out if it was planned and if I'm mentalized that I'm going out with some days in advance. If I'm asked the same day I don't go. I can't. Not if I wasn't mentalized that I was going out.
I've read about the symptoms of depression... I know I may have some of them but that doesn't mean I'm clinically depressed, does it?
Any helpful insight will be appreciated.

I would make the suggestion that you go to a qualified person such as a psychologist to be evaluated. You can ask the questions you have and the psychologist or counselor will also ask a lot of questions of you to make a diagnosis. You sound from what you have written that you have some of the signs/symptoms of depression. But you also sound like you might have an anxiety disorder...specifically social anxiety. I say this because you write about not being able to go out on the same day you are asked and need to have notice. This is one of the indicators that someone may have social anxiety. Also it is important to know that while you may not have a full blown case of depression there are other depression like illnesses (Yes, depression is an illness and not just a 'state of mind' and something someone can 'snap out of') One of those illnesses is called Dystymia which is a less severe form of depression. It is hard for anyone to really know the answer to your question without having a full evaluation. I hope you will consider this! Please take care of yourself. There is no shame in having an evaluation for depression. If you'd like to know more please email me at: helpkaira@yahoo.com and I will answer any questions about getting an evaluation you might have or if you just want more general information I can help you with that as well. Good Luck!

I might appear on the character's nutrition, if she is drinking to so much sugar or sugar meals. I might additionally appear at whether or not the character has diabetes. Make definite any person else is gift on the surgeon's and even the e.r. All it takes is a useful blood scan for diabetes to be identified. i am not a nurse, however i suppose it is proper. Also whilst I used to be younger I went by way of sexual promiscuity, and irritability, ect. I fairly this its a section in part. Is this character feminine? Young? And additionally the character could have a chemical imbalance that demands to be regulated. The sexual promiscuity is from an overabundance of hormones ect. There is a genetic scan to inform the surgeon if the character has melancholy or no longer-and that i expect manic signs-this is a blood scan or some thing. But i fairly suppose you will have to rule out any bodily issues earlier than targeting the intellectual.

Clinical depression is depression that affects your life to the extreme. If you aren't failing school and are studying, haven't lost your job, are eating, taking baths, etc., then chances are that you aren't clinically depressed. Clinical depression is when you are so depressed that you kind of give up on everything. You might not be clinically depressed but I'd get it checked out anyways. But, you do sound like you should talk to a doctor about your depression. It affects everything including you wanting to go out, etc. I suggest you see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis. Hope that helps!

We all get "depressed" at times. If it continues and interfers with your life get it checked out. Thre are lots of resourses out there whether you have insurance or not. It's kind of easy for a professional to diagnose. Why be unhappy if you don't need to be. See a professional and enjoy the holidays.

God can keep you from depression. Seek God with all your heart.
In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!

It sounds like you have social anxiety disorder...you just don't like being around other people. That can be caused by depression. Have you always been that way?

if you're sad all the time then you're depressed. if you're not, it sounds like you just like being alone. there's nothing wrong with that.
