I think he will, and for one simple reason: He moved his Iraq reform Speech from this coming week to January. With Christmas and Haunkakh coming up, I think he didn't want to get families in an uproar, so he thinks that it will be less painful in the New Year. He is an idiot. The only reccommendations he is going to take from the Iraq report is the part which says " more" instead of "less". He is the worst Presidnt the U.S. ever had and most likely the worst miliatry leader in World History

E lib o Nator: This war is pointless, this war is a waste of our taxdollars, and it's a waste of American lives. Winning is NOT an option because it's impossible, No matter what the Lier in Chief says.

Yes, that's what columnists are saying including the influential neoconservative Charles Krauthammer. I also heard something chilling on Olberman yesterday. More troops were killed after the US decided to get out of Vietnam, than were killed in the entire time before. It think the death toll was at 22,000, then the basic decision was made for Vietnamization and draw down. By the end of the war 58,000 troops had been killed.

HEY MAN!!! Things WERE NOT going so good in the middle of World War 2, did we pull out?? NO! We stayed and we won. I am in the Army and i say we should stay and get the job done because things will get worst! You think we could just pull out and act like nothing happened?? If we pull out, we'll probably end up in Iraq again. It's so dissapointing to come back and listen to people like you. Have some faith, war is never good and there is never good things to say, but we can win and and we should stay and WIN! Not pull out and hope for the best, there ain't gonna be peace if we get out, it will be worst.

It's better than reducing the number of soldiers there.

Since he will never ask for a total pull-out, hopefully by adding troops he gets the "result" he wants sooner, and everybody go home earlier. Or if this still doesn't work, he can eventually decide to call it quit.

The best decision would be a temporary increase and everybody leaves by mid next year.

The worst would be a gradual withdrawal, which encourages more insurgencies and puts our troop in greater danger.

I hope he's not going to be that stupid.

Yes he will send more soldiers in the New Year.

Robert Gates has said that we will be in Iraq "for a long time." He made those comments to mostly Democratic Senators, and they agreed with him. So, don't expect all of the troops to be pulled out or anything, in fact Gates is saying that we will need even more troops for the time being.

it extremely is a delusion that they bypass abode. They bypass returned to Europe, South Korea, Japan, etc. The Iraqi squaddies and police may be completely operational in July whilst those new troops might additionally get there. between our person adult males, our allies and the Iraqis, there will be approximately 4 hundred,000 person adult males waiting to bypass in July. as quickly because it extremely is desperate up, there will be a significant crackdown. which will very final shrink than 6 months. the perception is to hit the insurgencey so not person-friendly that the Iraqis can defeat them on their very own.

I think he will send more troops. The Dems will have to cut off funds to get a change in course - then Bush can blame them for the failure of the war. Bush is looking for "Political Cover" or someone to blame.

The test of leadership in my mind is not going to be what's on a paper resume. Vice President Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld had the best resumes on paper of any foreign policy team and the result has been what I consider to be one of the biggest foreign policy mistakes in our history.
