If you feel that bad with it, then yes. Stop it immediately. Stay on the Wellbutrin and contact your doctor. You CAN get hold of them--they have to have someone on call.

You have to ween yourself off it. Begin by taking maybe half a dose when it is your normal time to take it, do this for 1 week. Then if you take 2 a day go to one a day for 1 week. Then it should be safe to stop. Do not quit cold turkey, and it is good that you realize these feelings are caused by the medication. Call your doctor on Monday, and tell him that this is what you are doing, and if he has any input he should give it at this time. Things will get better, just hang in there, i have been there too.

What I could tell you to do is cut the pill in half so it can only be 25mg. Don't stop cold turkey because your going to have the same withdraws or even worst. I would becareful with changing prescription drugs. Some doctors dont know much about presciption drugs as pharmacist do. I use to work in the pharmacy and some doctors use to prscribe pills by color, shape and symptoms not by name. So I would try to seek advice from a pharmacist again.

If you feel like hurting yourself the most important thing is to contact an emergency helpline. If you have someone who can take you to a hospital that will be okay too.
AS far as the docs, they have to have someone on call, if you tell the answering service you are "in crisis" then you will be put in contact with someone.
Unfortunately when my wife was dealing with major depression when she reacted to new meds in a bad way it was tough getting the immediate help too. The key is to talk to a crisis counselor and/or doctor ASAP.
I really do understand your situation right now, but understand its only temporary and you can get it fixed. The hotline people can help, and if you have someone to take you to the ER, do it.
If you have any thoughts about hurting yourself, or any thoughts about "what if I... would that make the pain go awa?" DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR!

Not sure if you should stop cold turkey. Since you have to wait for your doc, check Zoloft's website. There may be an 800 number listed that you can get info.
I hope you feel better.

Keep taking it. Just because I think if you get off it suddenly something unexpected will happen. You have two days to wait, so take a walk and try to hang out with friends. I'm not sure- Did you ask the pharmacist about going off it? If you didn't, ask her. If you did, then go with what she said. Good luck!

Call a mental health /depression crisis hotline and have them get a doctor to call you.
Otherwise, I would suggest taking a half dosage until Monday. If you totally get off of it, it can cause the opposite reaction (mania).

You might have withdrawals if you stop cold turkey. Take half doses for the weekend and call your doctor on Monday.

The pharmacist is not a doctor. If you feel like hurting yourself go straight to any emergency room.

If an anti-depressant makes you want to commit suicide, stop using it & call your doc asap. There are strong warning labels about this.
