the idiot neighbours are really annoying me. My husband is a truck driver and needs his sleep coz he has 3 oclock starts, and they have there music playing all night. This morning they had friends come over at 4 and were all just screaming, not angrily but coz apparently they thought the others couldnt hear them, I finally got back to sleep and they started fighting and screaming and carrying on (all this to the delightful sounds of heavy metal) we live on the same property in seperate houses, and they let there staffy (mean *** dog) out which then sits outside our door growling at us. I tried asking them to keep it down, coz we were trying to sleep and got slammed with 'I just got outta jail. you cant stop me celebrating ' he got out about 6 months ago! I am just concerned coz I am 6 months pregnant and out lease here doesnt run out till the baby will be 8 months, I wont be able to handle them and a screaming baby at once! HELP!!!!

Our landlord is in another country at the moment, so I cant contact her, and I am scared of calling the cops coz these guys are really nasty.

talk to your landlord or call the police. there's no reason why you should have to put up with that. he's being totally unreasonable.
don't try to take care of this yourself. you don't know what he went to jail for, or what kind of anger management issues he may have, or what kind of ugly friends he has to make your life miserable if you create war between you two.
try and nip this in the bud as soon as possible, and get other people involved.

Well, if your landlord is out of the country, then you should call the cops. If they try to be rude get a restraining order. If they are rejoicing about just getting out of jail, I guarantee you they wont do anything stupid to go back there. Good Luck! 8-)

Are they related to the landlord? If not I'd go ahead and complain to him. The majority of the people that are up all night are doing things under suspect.

Contact the landlord and if he wont do any thing then tell him you will take him to court to get out of you lease

Have you spoken to you landlord? Called the police? You can do that for starters. If they don't do anything, especially your landlord, you can leave that place with no legal penalties.
