So last year i had a class with this guy [he's 1 yr older] and we flirted all the time. At the end of the year he came back to my house and we hooked up [no sex]. Then i went on vacation and then i didn't talke to him for like a week. Then he went off to college and i haven't heard from him in [3 months] and now he's coming back home for christmas and emails me saying he wants to see me again and misses me. How do i know if he really likes me or is just looking for some bootycall?

Yeah, this is a definite bootycall. If he really liked you all along, nothing would stop him from contacting you, whether distance, hurricane, earthquake, whatever. He's probably got a girl up at college in every class that he flirts with as well, and just wants a little lovin' back at home too. Be careful girl. To be used takes a huge toll on your self-esteem. Who wants to feel like a piece of meat?

This is one of those things where you have to trust your gut. First of all, you can't meet with him if you've already convinced yourself he's trying some booty. So clear your mind and give him a fair chance. A good sign that he's truly interested in you is if he respects your space and keeps his hands to himself, but is still attentive. If he has allot to say and keeps the conversation flowing it means he values your opinion and is interested in what you think and how you feel. By the end of the night (or the end of whatever time you spend together) there should be a vibe (your gut) he should be able to tell whether or not it's ok to touch you. You could even try making it clearer for him by touching his hand or something. But he should never try to disrespect you, by groping you or trying to kiss you when it's obvious you weren't ready for that.
This is no guarantee, but it's just an ideal experience, hope it turns out well

Hon, when you say "How do i know if he really likes me or is just looking for some bootycall?" you show me that you were born yesterday, a deeply religious person, or know nothing about how a 6 to 86 year old boy thinks. LOL. One sometimes leads to another. My solution (after many years exploring the US dating scene) is to move out of the USA (I'm overseas now) and troll for third world locals who are impressed by Americans and their money. (But I'm really a nice guy, so no worries...not what you might think)

My best guess would be to just straight up ask him and see what he is hoping to get out of this relationship. If you haven't had sex yet, I wouldn't think it's a booty call, but if you did have sex with him, then that's exactly what this is. Good luck.

You never truely know how someone feels till you set them down and talk to them but in love if you're not willing to get hurt once in a while well then you'll never know what you want or what you are truely looking for

if he wants to hang out with you and go for dinner then its a date. if he calls you to just come over it may be just for sex. but he is in college and you will be in college next year so why worry about it. go and have fun with the guy you like and use protection.
